The Royal Hawaiian’s strongest draw is its immediate Waikiki Beach setting, historic pink-hotel character and easy access to shops and dining. Many guests praise warm staff, memorable ambience and attractive views, but the experience can be uneven: ageing rooms and bathrooms, variable cleanliness, noise in some historic rooms, and a small or hard-to-access pool recur in feedback.
