Lausanne Palace stands out for its commanding views, historic character and central Lausanne setting near the station and shopping streets. Guests also praise breakfast and a Japanese-Peruvian dining option. The main caveat is inconsistent service: housekeeping can be slow, and one history-focused visitor found staff unable to discuss the hotel’s significant past.
